VICARDIO examination

VICARDIO examination = 3 dimensional ECG examination
(ECG with 12 channels, with 3 dimensional analisation of "heart picture")

3 dimensional heart image

What is an analysis of the "heart image"?

The picture showing one's heart is a "snapshot", gained from the information contained by the signals in the electrocardiogram, with the help of a special algorithm.

Vicardio is a biophysical measuring and evaluating method for evaluating the functional state and burden (chemical, physical, nutritional, psychic, environmental) of the heart, which provides a 3D display connected with traditional ECG measuring.

The "information microscope" of Vicardio measures and calculates the stress burden and displays the functioning of the heart and the functional parameters of the heart graphically.

The evaluation of the micro-divergences of the ECG signals - which cannot be sensed with eye - is carried out with the help of a special kibernetical algorithm. With the extra information gained this way the equipment not only evaluates the received information but displays visually the three dimensional image of the heart (topological mapping, vector graphical display of the ECG signals), and provides the necessary warning if the received value diverges from the average significantly.

Vicardio does not diagnose, but makes possible the recognition of fine electrophysical divergences through which more serious defects of the heart can be prevented, and can refer to certain other divergences as well. In such a case the physician may recommend further special examinations to the patient.

If Vicardio does not discover divergences, it does not exclude the possibility of defected functioning of the heart or other diseases, since heart diseases may have hidden, so called compensated forms in which there are no complaints or they manifest only whenever the patient's body is burdened.

The goals of Vicardio examination:

  • Prevention: screening healthy persons in order to screen possible (yet not known) risk factors
  • Screening endangered people with the goal of prevention (high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking, alcohol, job with high tension)
  • Screening the impacts of different stress effects on the heart
  • Evaluation of the recent stress burden
  • Monitoring treated persons with heart disorders
  • Monitoring the impacts of a treatment with drugs
  • Early warning, if a negative change has been happened in the functioning of the heart
Vicardio examination

Kinek lehet szüksége a vizsgálatra?

  • Those, who are often exposed to stress in their job or in their home.
  • Those, who want to know for sure that no negative changes have been taken place due to stress.
  • Those, who are under medical treatment and would like to get more information regularly about their state of health, so that they can go to doctor in case of worsening.
  • Those, who are exposed often to mental stress (for example sports, business journeys) and want to know for sure that there is no negative change in the electrical functioning process of their heart.
  • Those, whose nutrition has been neglected and therefore have an insufficiency of certain elements (potassium, magnesium etc.). The importance of these elements for the functioning of the heart is known. Insufficiencies mean stress for the heart.

How often should we make this examination done?

It is recommended to be examined once in a year, since this way we and our physician can be informed about the burden exposed our heart to.
